What is up and what is down? Has the world been turned upside down? Perhaps it has always been, depending on from where you look at it, from what perspective?
Has good become evil and evil good? What if true turns false and false true? Reality looks unreal.
We see polarization of opinions, social classes and power. In which direction are we moving? What is the direction of time?
"Up Side Down Town" is a sculptural artwork depicting a circular cityscape created from recycled household waste. The city hangs upside down from the ceiling, slowly rotating, while cameras capture video from both inside and outside. These videos are live-edited and projected onto the surrounding walls, blending with the shadows cast by the moving sculpture. The Soundtrack are also performed live.
