In a health crisis that the world is currently in, we learn to perceive the small details of life.
A drop that falls and collides with a surface, which becomes a membrane that emits an electrical impulse which in turn propagates like a sound wave in the air.
Together with other drops that drop at different rates, intricate rhythms are formed and through electronic manipulation musical qualities are given.
An ensemble of five drip stands equipped with drip bags of water and five metal vessels of different sizes, stand in a circle.
A relatively insignificant drop of water leaves the type of plastic container used in healthcare for infusion intravenously into the blood. It is released through an adjustable valve and falls to the bottom of a metal vessel, where it, together with the collected water, gradually changes the pitch of the resonant metal vessel.
A contact microphone attached to the bottom of the vessel, sends the sound to various electronic equipment where the sound is manipulated in real time before it is amplified and played back in speakers in the exhibition stand.
The water dripping is sodium chloride with the same amount of salt as tears.
