Sandbank at The Museum of Work in Norrköping: an installation created using two thousand kilos of sand. It explored the innocence of a child’s play in the sandbox juxtaposed with humanity’s arrogance. A maze of around 400 sand cakes, cast in children’s buckets, led to a sand tower at the room’s centre. The tower resembled a giant sandcastle, incorporating recognisable architectural details from human history, from pyramids and temples to skyscrapers.
